Phenomenal and Gorgeous Oceano Wedding

Finally I get to talk about this day.  This day had so much heart, love and soul for this amazing couple, deserved nothing less than the very best our magical coastside and the Oceano had to deliver.  I have so many favorites at this wedding… but I loved all the coastal vibes that got included in this day that took it from a large wedding to a very intimate wedding based on the energy and love for this couple.  My favorite were the wedding favors that were custom labeled and homemade from the bride’s mom from her own successful business called Spread the Love… if you have never tasted this jam, its to die for!  I especially loved how these were presented on rustic engraved wood pieces made by JRB Woodworking.  Also, accenting their day were the flowers from Alena Jean Florist… she never disappoints… the perfect combinations of soft pinks and creams and grey’s that brought the elegance of this day to life! But again, her family stepped in by taking on the beautiful centerpieces and boutonnièresfor the boys!  Love it!

And the bitter sweet moment of this day was capturing a great man, the father of the groom and his love for his family…  unfortunately they had to say goodbye to him shortly after this day.  And this is why photography is so important.  I feel so blessed to have witnessed and captured this memory for them.  To cherish forever!

A special shout out to these fellow rock stars for making this day perfect!

Stunning Redwood Wedding

Where do I even start with this amazing day.  This is my second opportunity of capturing a magical wedding for the Cozzolino family and they never disappoint.  Completely different yet equally amazing form her sisters!  Olivia and Ramsey got married in the majestic redwood grove at the Mountain Terrace.  It’s a rustic venue nestled in the foothills of skyline with beautiful views and breathtaking trees that surround an awesome place to say your I do’s and your yahoo’s!  Elena Jean blew me away with her floral art… I have never seen such a breath taking arbor she created for them to say their vows in front of.  Well done.  Then there was the other form of art… the desert table.  From “succulent” cupcakes to “coned” donut holes… and a breathtaking cake on top of it all… it was a spectacular and mouthwatering visual, SugarandShare, you out did yourself.  The crowd partied down to the beats of  Denon & Doyle and the day went without a hitch.  So much fun!

Thanks to all who were involved to really celebrate this beautiful couple in a beautiful spot

In loving memory of Eddie Cozzolino. I am thankful that my last memory of you was surrounded by all of your friends and family!

Majestic Oceano Wedding

Such a lovely day to have a wedding by the Ocean.  Oceano, you killed it again!  Isabel and Dan wanted one thing, which is to be apart of their day as much as possible.  Which, ultimately is right up my sleeve on how I orchestrate the flow of capturing.  No one should miss key moments in a day that last once a life time.  We made sure we captured all the ingredients that we could before hand and grabbing some great locations too… from the first look of the boat docks, to the moodiness of the enchanted forest for family portraits… and even a private moment for the last two minutes of sunset… we nailed it!  And they had the time of their lives!

Elegant San Francisco Wedding

The elegance of this day from the home rented to get ready at the Marina to the old school church that will take your breath away… simple and rustic and lastly the grand views of the party in the Presidio were all the ingredients of this day.

Cori found a perfect home to get in located blocks from the Legion of Honor, and close enough to walk from her hair appointment at Face West in the marina District.  Plus, I just really loved the old school feeling of a San Francisco home.  After all the details and fun was captured here I hurried over to the church, Swedenborgian Church off of Lyon Street.  This church has it all from the textured stone building and old wooden doors and a beautiful garden attached to the inside that is so timelessly lit by side windows, a fireplace and wood treelike beams that provided a rustic and old world feel into this sacred moment.

The party!  Nothing isn’t beautiful in the Presidio, but the Golden Gate Club in particular has these magnificent windows that really allow you to take in the views.  The tables were arranged in long family style seating that really reminded me of the historical painting of The Last Supper, by Da Vinci.  My favorite most unique part of this day though was during cocktail hour when they had acrobatic dancers serving the champagne… Cori, the bride, is a beautiful silk dancer and incorporated her love of this into her wedding day seamlessly.

Cheers to a happy life!
