Everyone, meet Katie.  She is the beautiful young lady who decided to surprise her mom and dad for their 25th wedding anniversary with a gift of a family portrait.  Katie is also my wonderful intern who does a lot of my behind the scenes work.  I am a believer in fate, and I found Katie doing a college project on the beach during sunset while photographing another family.  We instantly clicked and the rest is history!  I love that our paths met this way.

I had such an amazing time getting to know this family.  Such fun and laughter all the way through it.  Katie's Dad even surprised her mom with a new wedding ring... I felt so honored to be able to witness this.  Although her brother Adam was less than comfortable getting his feet sandy and freezing his butt off, he was a good sport about it, and if you ask me, brought the flavor needed to make this THEIR portrait.  It truly does capture their soul.  I love it!  Happy Anniversary!
